Jon has been with Mersberger Financial Group since July 2019 coming to the firm with seven years of industry experience.
Jon graduated Summa Cum Laude from UW Oshkosh with a degree in Accounting and Finance; and won the Chancellor’s Award for Excellence. Jon was the lead author on “Ben Graham’s Net Current Asset Value Strategy” in the Journal of Investing.
Jon manages the John Adams Global (JAG) Strategy which is based upon the methodology his published research paper investigates. As a specialist in fundamental and competitive analysis he also assists with general investment research.
Jon holds his Series 7 and 63 registrations. Jon is a CFA® charterholder and earned his CFA designation in November 2015. The CFA® designation is the highest distinction in the investment management profession and is globally recognized, giving charterholders a strong understanding of advanced investment analysis and real-world portfolio management skills.
In his spare time, Jon is a beekeeper. In fact, this odd hobby morphed into a full-fledged business with a line of beeswax based lip balm carried in Whole Foods and retailers across the country. As a bone marrow donor, he founded the UW Oshkosh chapter of Be the Match. His chapter has been responsible for over 100 life saving bone marrow donations. He also sits on over half a dozen non-profit boards of directors.
