A 403(b) is a retirement plan offered by public schools, churches, and tax-exempt organizations. 403(b) plans allow participants to save money for retirement and the employer may also choose to match all or a portion of the employee's contribution. 

457 Plans

457 Plans allow highly-compensated employees of certain tax-exempt organizations to contribute a portion of their salary to a retirement account. Often, contributions can be either pre-tax or Roth. In addition to the ability to save more for retirement, 457 plan participants are able to withdraw their savings prior to 59 1/2 without penalty.
